My concession to reaching a certain age has been to cut my working week to three days so keep the requests for tuning coming in. I do get booked up though so please allow a couple of weeks notice. ... See MoreSee Less

A really useful piano accessory: bookholders for the modern piano which rarely comes with such an essential thing. I thought at first it was made by K. Kawai but no, piano manufacturers still haven’t got the point. This pair is made by Katz Klip, available on Amazon for just under £30. #piano #pianotuner #bookholder #katzklip #pianomanufacturer @ Pampisford ... See MoreSee Less

When I see other instruments about I always bring up the subject of pitch. It’s surprising how many violin users express their ignorance about this and how it’s their teacher who tunes the violin for them. Surely lesson no.1 is how to tune your instrument? #piano #pianotuner #pitch #tuning #violin #violinteacher #learntotune ... See MoreSee Less
